Clint Bingham

Meet Clint Bingham. He was born in Terry County located on the South Plains of Texas. His parents home schooled him from 1st grade thru 12th grade. His education continues with each new day and the lessons it brings which expand his knowledge of both the people and the world around him. An interesting fact about Clint is that he is the oldest of 11 children. He attends Providence Presbyterian Church in Lubbock, Texas. His hobbies are computer games, electronics, hydro-phonics, reading and tennis.

Clint is one of the youngest producers in the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative family. However, don’t let his youthfulness fool you because he has a wealth of experience to draw from when you consider that he is the fourth generation to carry on the Bingham family farming tradition. He currently farms 250 acres which includes organic cotton and peanuts and has begun a vineyard which he is adding to each year.

He grows organically for many reasons but the top two are as follows: (1) since his childhood he has grown up helping his father, Cliff Bingham, and grandfather, Eddie Bingham, in the field witnessing first hand the benefits of organic soil and (2) he holds the belief that man has been given dominion over the earth and therefore should steward it with great care.

The reward for Clint in producing organically is a job done right with the added advantage of not being exposed to chemicals while at work.
